Agroforestry Accepts Bitcoin as a Mode of Payment

Agroforestry Group has stated that it would start serving the nascent cryptocurrency-based ecosystem by taking Cryptos as a method of payment in parallel to cash. This statement has been in the works for some time and is the direct outcome of input from various stakeholders.

Cryptocurrencies, headed by Bitcoin, have grown in popularity as means of payment among the general population in the past few years. Providing such alternate payment options is only one of the numerous ways Agroforestry Group is using technology.

Agroforestry Group trusts the potential of block chain technologies since they may reduce processing charges and increase usability for all of its customers worldwide. Customers may settle using their regular cryptocurrency wallet apps by scanning the QR code given by Agroforestry Group or inputting its alphanumeric address.

Agroforestry Group accepts top cryptos (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Tether USD (USDT). Agroforestry Group’s MD, Paul Martin, stated, “Over the last five years, our Bitcoin holdings have grown significantly, and there is a rising desire from our clients for simple and flexible payment options. Our choice to embrace Bitcoin as well as other emerging cryptocurrencies was prompted by significant favorable response and demands from our consumers.”

He also said that, as far as he knows, Agroforestry Group was one among the foremost business to take Bitcoin as payment. Bitcoin is the world’s biggest and most popular cryptocurrency.

Since its inception in 2009, it has grown from a market value of nearly 0 USD to a range of between 800 billion and 1 trillion USD today. Agroforestry Group, founded in 2015, has used their three decades of private forestry administrative experience to the creation and commercial growth of durian and agarwood plantations, as well as product distribution and marketing.
