Alpha Ladder Expands Access to Tokenized Global Equities

alpha ladder finance

Singapore-based wealth manager Alpha Ladder Finance has launched access to Payward’s xStocks tokenized equities for institutional and accredited investors in selected Asian markets, expanding its WealthX platform into blockchain-based capital markets.

The Sept. 11 announcement makes Alpha Ladder one of the first licensed wealth management firms in the region to offer tokenized global equities, according to the company. The rollout follows a memorandum of understanding between Alpha Ladder, MetaComp and Payward aimed at advancing tokenized capital markets across the Asia-Pacific region.

Under the arrangement, Alpha Ladder will act as a distribution partner for xStocks in selected markets, subject to investor eligibility, onboarding and compliance requirements.

Wealth Management Moves Into Tokenized Assets

The launch gives eligible investors access to tokenized versions of global equities through an established wealth management platform rather than requiring them to build separate digital-asset infrastructure.

Alpha Ladder Finance operates as a real-world asset exchange, brokerage, and custody platform and is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore as a Capital Markets Services licensee. The company uses its NFDT framework, multi-cloud multi-party computation wallets, and on-chain know-your-transaction controls to support tokenization, trading, and liquidity.

The integration expands the scope of Alpha Ladder’s WealthX platform beyond conventional investment products as institutional interest in tokenized securities continues to increase.

The partnership enables eligible institutional and accredited investors in selected Asian markets to access tokenized global equities through Alpha Ladder’s regulated wealth management infrastructure.

MetaComp, a Singapore-based payments company and Major Payment Institution licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, is also involved in the initiative. Its StableX Network is designed to connect fiat and stablecoin payment rails within a regulated financial framework, supporting institutional capital movement, payments, treasury operations and investment activity across traditional and digital assets.

According to the companies, StableX Network has attracted more than 1,000 members and partners and reached more than 100,000 users since launching in November 2025.

xStocks Brings Equities On-Chain

Payward’s xStocks platform is designed to represent publicly traded equities on blockchain networks through fully collateralized tokens backed on a 1-to-1 basis. The structure combines exposure to global stocks with blockchain-based settlement and continuous availability.

Data cited in the announcement indicates that xStocks supports more than 700 assets and has processed more than $40 billion in cumulative transaction volume, with over 200,000 unique holders.

The model is part of a wider push to make traditional financial assets available through blockchain infrastructure. For investors and financial institutions, tokenization can potentially improve access, settlement efficiency and the flexibility of how assets are held and transferred.

The companies said the collaboration could also lead to additional tokenization initiatives involving new products, counterparties and use cases across the Asia-Pacific region.

Institutional Interest in Tokenization Grows

The Alpha Ladder rollout comes as tokenized real-world assets gain greater traction among institutional investors. As per figures cited in the release, the value of on-chain real-world assets reached approximately $19.3 billion at the end of March 2026, compared with about $5.4 billion in January 2025.

An EY and Coinbase survey cited in the announcement found that 63% of institutional investors globally said their organizations were highly interested in tokenized assets in 2026, up from 57% a year earlier.

The growing focus is shifting from whether traditional assets can be placed on blockchain networks to how tokenized products can be delivered through regulated channels that meet institutional requirements for governance, compliance, and investor onboarding.

Market projections also point to significant potential. McKinsey has estimated that total tokenized market capitalization could approach $2 trillion by 2030, excluding cryptocurrencies.

For Alpha Ladder, MetaComp and Payward, the latest rollout reflects that broader transition. By placing tokenized equities within an existing wealth management relationship, the companies are seeking to reduce the operational barriers associated with blockchain-based investing while maintaining established compliance and institutional controls.

The partnership therefore represents another step toward integrating digital asset infrastructure into mainstream capital markets, with further products and applications potentially emerging as regulatory frameworks and institutional demand develop.
