Blockchain for Good Alliance, a global nonprofit initiative established by Bybit, has entered into a strategic partnership with FLock.io, a decentralized artificial intelligence company focused on privacy-first technologies. The collaboration signals an expansion of the alliance’s scope from a sole emphasis on blockchain-driven impact to a broader focus that includes decentralized AI. Both organizations indicated that the partnership is intended to explore how blockchain and AI can be jointly applied to initiatives that generate measurable public benefit.
BGA operates as a global platform that brings together industry leaders, innovators, and organizations to apply blockchain technology to real-world challenges. Its mission centers on encouraging collaboration and innovation that contribute to a more sustainable and equitable global environment. By incorporating decentralized AI into its framework, the alliance aims to address increasingly complex societal issues that require both trustworthy data infrastructure and responsible AI systems.
FLock.io Named Strategic AI Partner
As part of the agreement, FLock.io has been designated as BGA’s Strategic AI Partner within the alliance’s global network. In this role, FLock.io is expected to work closely with projects operating under the BGA ecosystem, offering advisory input and technical expertise where applicable. The partnership also includes plans to evaluate opportunities for integrating FLock.io’s API platform and its FOMO AI marketplace into selected initiatives that align with the alliance’s public-good objectives.
FLock.io positions itself as a pioneer in decentralized and privacy-preserving AI, with a focus on federated learning and incentive-aligned systems. Through the partnership, the company aims to support builders and institutions by providing open AI solutions that prioritize data privacy, transparency, and accessibility. The collaboration is framed as a way to ensure that decentralized AI development remains closely tied to real-world impact rather than purely commercial outcomes.
Academic and Public-Sector Collaboration
Beyond direct ecosystem support, the two organizations plan to explore joint initiatives with academic institutions, research bodies, and public-sector organizations worldwide. These efforts may take the form of workshops, lectures, webinars, pilot programs, or collaborative research projects that examine the intersection of AI, blockchain, and societal benefit. The intention is to foster knowledge exchange and practical experimentation in environments where long-term public value is a priority.

Supporting the Next Generation of Builders
The Germany tour is planned to conclude with student teams presenting their projects during German Blockchain and AI Week 2026. Selected teams will have the opportunity to pitch their solutions to a panel of industry leaders and partners, with winning teams receiving recognition and support to further develop their ideas. The initiative will also feature a panel discussion involving policymakers, founders, and academic experts, highlighting the role of emerging technologies in addressing public challenges.
Leadership from BGA emphasized that the partnership reflects a commitment to promoting blockchain-powered AI initiatives that can deliver positive global outcomes. The alliance highlighted FLock.io’s emphasis on combining blockchain infrastructure with federated learning as a strong alignment with its own vision of responsible and accessible innovation.
Broader Community Engagement
In addition to formal programs and academic outreach, BGA and FLock.io plan to collaborate on events and community-driven initiatives aimed at developers, researchers, and industry stakeholders working on AI-for-Good and Blockchain-for-Good applications. Through these combined efforts, the partnership seeks to build a global community focused on deploying decentralized technologies in ways that prioritize ethical design, public trust, and long-term societal value.
