The NFT series will include animated sculptures depicting seven memorable events from CR7’s lifetime and illustrious soccer history, with four rarity tiers. Binance revealed the CR7 NFT series collaboration in July, but it is not the lone soccer-themed NFT initiative to emerge in 2022. In September, FIFA itself introduced FIFA+ Collect, a marketplace for digital memorabilia on Algorand (ALGO), before to the 20 November commencement of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Earlier in November, payments processing firm Visa auctioned its soccer-themed NFTs on the cryptocurrency market Crypto.com. Interestingly, Crypto.com secured a sponsorship agreement with FIFA for the 2022 World Cup.
