Krown Technologies is preparing to launch BLOQ Talk on Oct. 1, 2026, introducing a messaging platform that combines post-quantum encryption with identity verification, anti-abuse technology, and Web3 community tools. The service will be available on iOS and Android, with complementary web functionality.
The platform is designed around the idea that secure communication requires more than encrypting messages. As artificial intelligence makes voice cloning, deepfakes, and impersonation increasingly sophisticated, BLOQ Talk seeks to provide users with mechanisms to verify who they are communicating with while maintaining cryptographic privacy.
BLOQ Talk’s core security system, called Cipher Lock, combines NIST-standardized ML-KEM-768 with the established X25519 key exchange in a hybrid handshake designed to protect communications against current attacks while preparing for potential threats from quantum computing.
Post-Quantum Protection at the Core
Cipher Lock is built into BLOQ Talk from the outset rather than being introduced as a later upgrade. The architecture uses ML-KEM-768 alongside X25519, creating a hybrid key-exchange system intended to provide protection against both conventional cryptographic threats and potential future quantum attacks.
The platform also uses ML-DSA-65 for device identity and AES-256-GCM to encrypt stored messages. Krown says its servers can handle encrypted content and public cryptographic information but do not possess the session keys required to decrypt private conversations.
The architecture incorporates cryptographic agility, allowing encryption algorithms to evolve as security standards develop without requiring existing conversations to be rebuilt. The approach is also intended to address harvest-now, decrypt-later risks, in which encrypted information collected today could potentially be decrypted by more capable computers in the future.
Liveproof Targets Deepfakes and Impersonation
Encryption does not establish whether the person behind a conversation is genuine. BLOQ Talk therefore adds Liveproof, a verification system that allows two trusted contacts to establish a secret phrase known only within their relationship.
If a call becomes suspicious, particularly when money, credentials, or sensitive information are involved, one participant can request the Liveproof phrase. The system is designed to provide an additional human verification layer against cloned voices and AI-generated identities.
BLOQ Shield adds continuous security and anti-abuse monitoring. It is designed to detect phishing links, suspicious domains, impersonation attempts, wallet-drainer patterns, and spam before they reach users. Community administrators can also use AI-assisted moderation tools to manage abusive activity.
The platform limits unsolicited communication by preventing strangers from directly messaging users by default. Unknown contacts must first pass through connection and trust controls.
Trust Passport Adds Portable Reputation
BLOQ Talk also introduces a Trust Passport, which records identity verification, account history, community standing, and other trust indicators. Its accompanying BLOQ Score is intended to reflect trust based on identity, behavior, contribution, and standing rather than popularity alone.
Community owners can use these signals to establish configurable access requirements. Gates can be based on verified identity, BLOQ Score, invitations, wallet ownership, NFT ownership, verified NFT profile pictures, manual approval, and other criteria.
The trust system is designed to give Web3 communities additional tools for limiting impersonators, bots, and fraudulent accounts while allowing legitimate users to demonstrate verified standing without exposing private keys or seed phrases.
Web3 and Creator Features
Users can connect wallets across supported blockchain networks and demonstrate ownership through cryptographic signatures without surrendering private keys or seed phrases. The platform also supports NFT profile pictures, token-gated communities, and cryptocurrency tips.
Beyond Web3 functions, BLOQ Talk includes private and group messaging, encrypted voice and video calls, live Rooms with speaker and listener roles, Stories, polls, reactions, disappearing messages, view-once media, voice notes and file sharing.
An integrated BLOQ Assistant provides conversation summaries, smart replies, and translation capabilities. Users who miss live discussions can receive AI-generated recaps.
Account recovery is structured around trusted guardians rather than requiring Krown to hold users’ private encryption keys.
Mobile Messaging With Creator Monetization
Krown is positioning BLOQ Talk as a mobile-first service, with iOS and Android applications supported by web functionality. Its Creator Hub provides tools for tracking activity and earnings, while monetization options include paid memberships, tips, ticketed events and creator-focused commerce.
By combining post-quantum encryption, identity verification, wallet authentication and AI-assisted security in one platform, BLOQ Talk is positioning trust as an additional security layer alongside traditional message protection.
The launch comes as digital communication increasingly intersects with artificial intelligence, online communities and digital assets.
