The blockchain firm underlined that users can indicate the amount they prefer to give as tip to a given Twitter account, and the beneficiary will receive the tip in the form of BAT crypto directly.
Several features are offered with the tipping service, including recurring tips and process for Tweeting to a tipped creator to inform them how to claim their award. Brave started trialing its Twitter tipping service in May on its browser version Brave Nightly, which still undergoes development.
As mentioned earlier, Brave Rewards are offered to users of the latest version of its browser. Users who have enrolled for receiving Brave Rewards will be able to see an active link for paying tip to Twitter posts, while reading tweets through their Brave desktop browser. Brave Rewards also support tipping on Twitch, YouTube and will soon be offered to users of GitHub, Reddit and Vimeo.
Brave Rewards users can also get rewarded by viewing privacy-based ads or via conventional purchases. At the time of writing this article, BAT has a market capitalization of $300.98 and trading at $0.237, down 3.1% from prior close.
Especially, the US Securities and Exchange Commission recently approved the blockchain organization Props to introduce the latter’s token under Regulation A+. The Ethereum-based token Props is intended for easy incorporation in external apps that offer rewards.
YouNow — a streaming facility that presently provides token benefits in return for live video relay, is supposedly the first app on the Props network.
