Co-Owner of BitMarket Crypto Exchange, Tobiasz Niemiro, Found Dead

Tobiasz Niemiro was discovered murdered, co-owner of the now-defunct Polish cryptocurrency swap BitMarket. Local government radio channel Radio Olsztyn disclosed the truth.

Local cops said Niemiro was discovered murdered with a gunshot in his head close to his Olsztyn city house. Police is yet to identify the reason for Niemiro’s murder.

Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza, which focuses on political and public news, has claimed that Niemiro contemplated suicide. The officials are supposedly still investigating to establish precise reasons for Niemiro’s death.

A year after it was established, Niemiro and his associate Marcin Aszkiełowicz bought the BitMarket cryptocurrency exchange.

BitMarket announced a shortage of liquidity in early July and stopped its activities. Furthermore, customers were welcomed with the below mentioned text message in both English and Polish when attempting to get connected to the cryptcurrency exchange platform through their portal:

“Dear Users, We regret to inform you that due to the loss of liquidity, since 08/07/2019, Bitmarket.pl/net was forced to cease its operations. We will inform you about further steps.”

Roughly 400 users became a prey of the inoperative cryptocurrency exchange. Niemiro stated in an email with Money.pl that he was not liable for the events and that he was also impacted. Niemiro said at the moment:

“I lost everything because somebody led to the collapse of the stock exchange. Now I’m losing face and good name for which I’ve worked all my life. I am one of the victims.”
