Crypto.com Partners with Travala.com To Facilitate Direct Crypto Payments

Crypto.com, Hong Kong-based crypto payment provider, has entered into collaboration with crypto cordial travel booking site Travala.com.

Under the agreement, Crypto.com’s payment app will be hosted on Travala.com platform, paving way for a simple gateway for bookings to be carried out using the platform.

Earlier, clients had to manually carry out transfer from their wallet while making an attempt to purchase using cryptos.

The firms have highlighted that Crypto.com Pay’s 1 million clients will be able to gain access to roughly 2 million lodgings in 230 countries.

Travala.com clients can utilize Crypto.com Pay to carry out payments in Ether (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), Ripple (XRP), Litecoin (LTC) and Crypto.com’s CRO token.

Travala.com, as of date, facilitates multiple payment modes including credit card, Crypto.com Pay, Paypal, or 25 other crypto assets.

Crypto.com co-founder and CEO Kris Marszalek stated that Travala is “a well-recognized brand in the crypto community.”

Steve Hipwell, Travala.com co-founder and COO, opined that the collaboration will “further drive cryptocurrency adoption to the masses and make paying with cryptocurrency a norm.”

Crypto.com COO Eric Anziani explained that his firm is proactively working on new collaborations to widen its merchant network.

In the past 15 days, Crypto.com has begun supporting two new stablecoins.

Notably, earlier today, TrustToken (TUSD) rolled out TUSD payments through Crypto.com’s Visa card. TrustToken stated that the deal will permit TUSD to be utilized for payments with 40 million merchants worldwide.

Ten days before, Crypto.com turned out to be the first ever platform to support XSGD, a Singapore dollar pegged stablecoin created by blockchain platform Zilliqa and Singaporean financial technology enterprise Xfers.
