Icertis Partners With Microsoft To Improve Contract Management System Using Blockchain

Icertis, a well-known firm offering contract management services to enterprises, is partnering with Microsoft to widen its blockchain-based contract management system.

With partnership in place, Microsoft will assist Icertis to broaden its Icertis Blockchain Framework, which is structured to improve transparency and capability of contract management infrastructure using smart contracts facility.

The Icertis Blockchain Framework provides a blockchain based system to monitor contract criteria and obligations, enhancing the level of partnership and responsibility.

The system intends to resolve several issues linked with contracts on the supply chain, including fighting child labor, materials that may create conflict, food adultery and tracking pharmaceuticals.

In particular, the latest collaboration widens blockchain applications to contract administration by deploying the Microsoft Azure Blockchain Workbench for Icertis Contract Management (ICM) platform for clients across the world. According to the press release, the partnership will also link ICM platform with “Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services elements and the Icertis Blockchain Framework.”

Back in February, Icertis joined hands with German automaker Mercedes-Benz and employed its blockchain network to guarantee that its worldwide sourcing and contracting routines are in accordance with Mercedes-Benz Cars’ stringent specifications for working environment, protection of habitat, civil rights and so on.

In recent times, National Fisheries Institute, which is the US seafood trade association, partnered with IBM to deploy Food Trust – the blockchain powered supply chain solution – to monitor seafood with distributed ledger technology.
