Illuvium Launches Blockchain Game Series Interconnected via NFT

Kieran Warwick, co-founder of Illuvium, unveiled a novel game idea that has supposedly never been offered to the market. Essentially, it is a collection of blockchain-based games that are interconnected by NFTs. Warwick noted in an interview that the idea of an interoperable blockchain game is incredibly novel in this sector. IBG is a set of linked blockchain games that share NFTs, a common in-game money, or both. It is essentially a cryptocurrency referred to by Illuvium.

The first game will apparently be a city builder. It will be a hybrid of Sim City and Clash of Clans in which players will be able to construct and harvest resources for use in Overworld, the second game. Now, Overworld’s primary objective is to discover and catch ‘Illuvial’ animals, similar to that of a Pokemon. The Illuvials will next engage in combat in the third blockchain game, whose concept is based on Teamfight tactics or DOTA.

Warwick has also claimed that Illuvium intends to provide an enjoyable gaming environment for its gamers, as opposed to play-to-earn and non-fungible token elements. For those unfamiliar with the firm, Illuvoum is now supported by the Illuvium DAO, a decentralized autonomous organization working to increase the company’s finances, even during the crypto winter.
