Indian TikTok-like Web3 App Chingari to Unveil Unique Version on Aptos Blockchain

Indian Web-3 social-video application Chingari announced on its blog on Wednesday that it has joined with the Aptos blockchain to offer infrastructure assistance for its Web3 product line.

The debut of the cooperation, which will make the Solana-powered multi-chain, is expected in the second quarter of 2023. As per the article, the Aptos variant of the Chingari app would include “a more expandable interaction with updated items.” Nevertheless, legacy assistance for Solana-powered Chingari users will continue.

According to The Block, Aptos is investing in Chingari as a portion of the transaction. Sumit Ghosh, CEO and co-founder of Chingari, said that the relationship would facilitate the app’s expansion into other areas in the coming months.

Ghosh told CoinDesk that Aptos Labs’ vast knowledge of the social media landscape was a major factor in the company’s selection as a strategic ally. The influence of Chingari’s development on the Aptos blockchain will set the stage for a solid base and assessment process in the Indian environment before future expansion into larger regions.

The cooperation between Chingari and the Aptos blockchain intends to streamline payments, boost activity, and strengthen the platform’s safety.

“Aptos provides numerous major advantages, including enhanced scalability, safety, and efficiency, which makes it the perfect solution for Chingari’s requirements,” Chingari stated in a statement.

In moments after the partnership’s announcement, the value of Chingari’s native token, GARI, increased by around 48% to a peak of 8 cents. While preparing this report, the crypto token was trading at $0.0783 per TradingView data.
