Ledger Live Is Compatible With More Than 1,250 Ethereum-Based ERC-20 Tokens

Ledger, the French hardware wallet manufacturer, revealed that Ledger Live, the crypto management software, is compatible with Ethereum (ETH) ERC-20 tokens.

While revealing the info through a blog post, Ledger stated that the version 1.14.0 of Ledger Live software supports more than 1,250 Ethereum-based ERC-20 tokens.

The software update for Ledger Live was published for both mobile and desktop variants. The Ledger Live application permits users of the company’s hardware wallets such as Ledger Nano S or Ledger X to administer their gadgets and cryptocurrencies.

The firm also guarantees to provide support for additional assets in the future.

“While the ERC-20 token integration has brought a plethora of new cryptocurrencies to Ledger Live, we still aim to add even more crypto assets to the platform.”

In March, Ledger pointed out bugs in its direct competitor Trezor’s gadgets. Prague-based crypto wallet manufacturer Trezor, on the contrary, has declined Ledger’s report by asserting that the vulnerabilities highlighted by Trezor are not grave.
