Oil & Gas Firm Dietsmann Trials Blockchain Platform From Modex

Modex, a blockchain firm, has unveiled a blockchain dependent data base platform which can be easily deployed. The platform will be tested by reputed oil and gas enterprise Dietsmann.

The platform, dubbed Modex Blockchain Database Platform (Modex BCDB), not only eases adoption of blockchain technology but also enables a company to get started in a matter of few hours, instead of several days or sometime even months.

Mihai Ivascu, CEO and founder of Modex said:

“With the launch of Modex BCDB, we’re excited to usher in a new era of enterprise blockchain adoption. We’ve developed Modex BCDB specifically with enterprise needs in mind in order to counteract the high barriers to adoption that have typically kept businesses on the sidelines.”

Ivascu, while speaking to a Romanian media outlet Economica, revealed that he is having multiple discussions with the Romanian Bank of Commerce (BCR). Currently, the BCR has not started using Modex’ solutions.

Established in 1977, Netherlands based oil and gas giant Dietsmann, is leading other enterprises in adopting the blockchain platform of Modex BCDB. Dietsmann specializes in operation and maintenance of energy industries across the globe.

Dietsmann president and founder, Peter Kutemann, stated that the blockchain will considerably aid the enterprise and create new windows of opportunity to partner with key clients and suppliers.

“Modex Blockchain Database infrastructure allows Dietsmann to be up and running on a private blockchain infrastructure at low cost in a matter of days, with high efficiency and minimal effort from our technical team.”
