OKX Web3 Wallet Adds Multi-Address Portfolio Management

OKX

OKX has updated its Web3 Wallet platform with a feature designed to simplify the management of multiple self-custody wallet addresses, allowing users to monitor assets and portfolio performance through a single web interface.

The update is part of OKX’s Onchain OS suite and addresses a common challenge for users who maintain assets across several blockchain wallets. Instead of moving between separate applications or interfaces, users can now import multiple wallet addresses and manage them from one location.

The updated Web3 Wallet enables users to combine balances from multiple wallet addresses, monitor realized and unrealized profit and loss, and switch between connected addresses through a single interface.

The feature is aimed at providing a more consolidated view of digital asset holdings while preserving the self-custody structure of individual wallets. Users can bring together different addresses without necessarily transferring their assets into one wallet, allowing them to maintain separate accounts while monitoring their overall portfolio.

The capability is particularly relevant to users who operate multiple addresses for different purposes, such as long-term holdings, trading activity, decentralized applications, or other onchain transactions. By bringing these addresses into one dashboard, the update could reduce the need to repeatedly check individual wallets to determine total balances or portfolio performance.

Support for More Than 80 Blockchains

According to the report, the updated platform supports integrations across more than 80 blockchains, giving users a broader view of assets held across different networks. The multi-chain functionality is intended to make portfolio tracking more convenient as users increasingly hold digital assets across several blockchain ecosystems.

The feature also includes watch-only wallet functionality. This allows users to track wallet addresses without importing or exposing their private keys. The approach provides visibility into holdings while keeping the underlying wallet credentials separate from the tracking interface.

Watch-only tracking allows users to monitor wallet balances and activity without providing private keys, adding flexibility for portfolio oversight while maintaining the separation of wallet credentials.

The distinction is important for users managing self-custody assets because private keys provide control over funds. A tracking system that does not require those credentials can allow users to observe holdings without giving the portfolio interface direct control over the assets.

The new functionality is accessible through OKX’s web interface and is intended to centralize portfolio assessment and asset management across connected addresses. Users can review aggregated holdings and performance information without having to navigate between different wallet applications.

Expanding Onchain Asset Management

The update reflects a broader shift toward interfaces that bring fragmented blockchain activity into more unified portfolio-management environments. As users interact with multiple networks and maintain several wallet addresses, tracking total holdings and investment performance can become increasingly complicated.

By combining wallet information in one interface, OKX is positioning its Web3 Wallet as a broader portfolio-management tool rather than simply a mechanism for accessing individual blockchain accounts. The ability to view realized and unrealized PnL also gives users additional information for assessing the performance of their holdings.

OKX has operated in the cryptocurrency market since 2017 and offers services spanning digital-asset trading and Web3 applications. Its Onchain OS suite forms part of the company’s efforts to provide infrastructure and tools for interacting with blockchain-based assets and applications.

The latest wallet update could make multi-chain portfolio management more efficient for users holding assets across numerous self-custody addresses, while watch-only support provides a way to track holdings without sharing private keys.

The development comes as blockchain users increasingly manage assets across multiple networks rather than relying on a single wallet or chain. A consolidated interface could therefore help reduce operational complexity while giving users a clearer view of their overall digital-asset portfolios.
