Plaid Launches Web3 Authorization Plugin for Blockchain Programmers

Plaid, a financial data transfer provider, has released a unique tool that streamlines the incorporation of Web3 into Web2 portals for blockchain developers.

The Wallet Onboard plugin enables developers connectivity to more than 300 self-custody cryptocurrency wallets via an unified integration, the business stated in a blog article. Developed over Plaid Link, the plugin enables users to connect their cryptocurrency wallets, such as MetaMask or Ledger, to Web3 applications without storing wallet address or encrypted wallet address information.

Back in July, the San Francisco-headquartered data provider increased its assistance for cryptocurrency firms, adding Gemini, Binance.US, Kraken, Robinhood, SoFi, and more to its roster. With the connection, cryptocurrency investors may exchange their account credentials with certain other services, including asset kinds, balances, and activities (e.g. tax advisories, net worth assessments, and others).
