Bang & Olufsen launched the DNA Collection of digital souvenirs in November 2017 with the help of a number of well-known people in the field of NFT art. As a way to honour the year the group was founded, 1925 non-fungible tokens were distributed. Bang & Olufsen says that the NFTs will be the main reason for the company’s move into the Metaverse and that token-gated ways will be used to give access to upcoming exclusive company goods and experiences.
Bang & Olufsen’s gallery, called Web3, will feature works by well-known artists like Hackatao, Thomas Lin Pedersen, Shavonne Wong, and Richard Nadler. Also, respected recording artist RAC and famous electronic music artists and songwriters Gramatik and Luxas will put together an intense sound experience for the guests.
With this one-of-a-kind Web3 gallery, Bang & Olufsen will keep the promises it made when the digital collections came out. On April 12 at 7 p.m., people who own the company’s NFTs will be able to attend a private event that the company is planning. The people who were invited will be able to eat, drink, watch talks, and see a live show by Luxas. The artist knows how to combine music and visual art to make interesting modular effects that can be played live or filmed.
