Redbrick Partners with Alibaba Cloud to Fuel Web 3.0 Metaverse Expansion in Asia-Pacific

Redbrick Inc., a leading metaverse creation platform, has announced a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Alibaba Cloud to collaboratively develop a Web 3.0-based metaverse, aiming to expand its brand presence across the Asia-Pacific region.

Alibaba Cloud, already a prominent player in the global B2B and B2C sectors, holds a strong position in the Asian market. Redbrick intends to leverage Alibaba Cloud’s market strength to drive its expansion in Asia and capitalize on the growing interest in metaverse experiences.

Capitalizing on the robust infrastructure offered by Alibaba Cloud, Redbrick plans to establish a comprehensive software creation platform capable of developing immersive 2D and 3D games, as well as metaverse content.

According to data from Gartner, Alibaba Cloud is recognized as a leading infrastructure as a service (IaaS) provider in the Asia-Pacific region, boasting a substantial presence with numerous regional data centers in Southeast Asia.


The partnership between Redbrick Inc. and Alibaba Cloud goes beyond market expansion. Both parties are actively engaged in discussions with companies in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and other Southeast Asian nations to promote metaverse services based on Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

YANG YEONGMO, CEO of Redbrick, emphasized the high level of interest in the metaverse within Southeast Asia, including Singapore, stating that expanding the creator economy market is crucial for producing high-quality content. This is the driving force behind their proactive approach to reaching global markets, with a focus on Asia as the starting point.

The collaboration between Redbrick Inc. and Alibaba Cloud not only supports the expansion of the Web 3.0 metaverse in the Asia-Pacific region, specifically Southeast Asia, but also strengthens the presence of Chinese companies in the evolving Web 3.0 landscape.
