Tron Blockchain’s User Base Surpasses One Million

TRON (TRX) has set a new milestone by surpassing one million user accounts, data revealed December 23, as the blockchain executives carry on with their criticism of competitor Ethereum (ETH).

TRON blockchain statistics uploaded to social media by Misha Lederman, co – founderof the IAmDecentralized.org spin-off project of the cryptocurrency, confirmed that the network now has more than a million addresses.

TRON, which launched its mainnet earlier this year, aims to become an ecosystem for the development of decentralized applications (DApps). Known for publicly chiding Ethereum, the main rival of TRON, CEO Justin Sun forecast a “slow implosion” for the altcoin this week.

Commenting on the address point, Lederman suggested that the speed at which the activity increased was also considerably higher than that of ETH.

Lederman said “In comparison, (Ethereum) reached 1 million accounts on January 22, in 542 days or 18 months since (the Ethereum) Mainnet Launch.”

Responses showed that Ethereum built its user base when the interest in cryptocurrency was marginal compared to current conditions. Others added that despite the growth, the price tag of TRX was $ 0.02 compared to ETH / USD, which even after a 90 percent decrease from the all-time high, maintained a value of about $73.

This week, TRX had gained almost 39%, helped by the overall recovery in the crypto market. Ethereum has also gained almost 32% in trade at $132 this week.
