The Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), a global container shipping firm, issued the electronic bill of lading (eBL) through the WaveBL platform. Traditionally, the physical delivery of such documents could take several days due to courier logistics and handling procedures. With the blockchain-enabled solution, the entire process was executed within minutes, dramatically increasing efficiency and reducing operational friction.
WaveBL’s blockchain technology allowed for the end-to-end digital transfer of the bill of lading in a fully encrypted and tamper-proof manner.
