United Africa Blockchain Association to Train Zambian Officials

The United Africa Blockchain Association (UABA), in collaboration with SMART Zambia, a subsidiary of the Office of the President of Zambia responsible for overseeing and fostering digital government services and functions, will offer senior Zambian representatives from several industrial sectors in Zambia with top-tier blockchain training.

Officials of governmental organizations, financial firms, investors, financial technology, card companies, advisors, and solution providers in blockchain technology as well as other Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies are anticipated to take part in this comprehensive blockchain technology teaching.

Guests will discover crucial data on the manner in which blockchain technology can alter industries and increase efficiency. At the meeting, industry experts will share their knowledge on a variety of blockchain-related issues, such as app users, implementation strategies, and associated difficulties.

    The United Africa Blockchain Association (UABA), a non-profit organization, was founded with the mission of encouraging the use of blockchain technology in Africa and forming alliances and systems to implement blockchain initiatives that would alter the course of history.

    Its training programmes provide individuals and organisations with the knowledge, connections, and networks required to create blockchain-based solutions. UABA seeks to unite the African blockchain ecosystem to accomplish eight common goals of peaceful cooperation and progress: gender equality, fair and successful commerce, financial inclusion, sovereign identity, skill development, job creation, and poverty reduction.

    Smart Zimbabwe Electronic Government (e-Gov), also known as the Smart Zambia Institute, is a section of the Office of the President responsible for developing and administering electronic government services and operations. In addition, it simplifies people’ access to government services by coordinating e-government and information and communication technology concerns across public agencies.

    The Electronic Government Act No. 41 of 2021 confers jurisdiction on the Division. The Electronic Government Act No. 41 of 2021 is required to facilitate access to electronic government services and improve service delivery.
