US Consulting Firm Object Computing Partners with VeChain to Back Global Logistics Initiatives

Object Computing Inc., through a media release, has stated that it has inked a strategic agreement with the Vechain Foundation. As part of the contract, Object Computing, together with VeChain, will back global logistics initiatives by positioning itself as a “VeChain Global Solutions Provider.”

The Object Computing, Inc. (OCI) is an end-to-end software technology company involved in the creation of unique solutions, while providing support for the creation of distributed object-oriented apps.

Established in 1993, the company currently backs Fortune 500 clients in a multitude of industries such as finance, telecom, manufacturing, healthcare and defense. In 2019, the company posted revenues of $23 million had currently employs 129 people.

The objective of the partnership is to capitalize on the supply chain experience of Object Computing Inc. and that of VeChain. The St.Louis-headquartered firm will utilize VeChain’s Blockchain-as-a-Service platform, ToolChain, to attain the objective. In the media release, OCI states:

“VeChain’s ToolChain is a comprehensive blockchain application platform backed by the Thor blockchain. ToolChain enables businesses of all sizes to leverage blockchain technology to enhance brand perception and value, as well as to expand into new business models. Services available to subscribers include product lifecycle management, supply chain process control, data deposit, data certification, and process certification.”

Additionally, Object Computing Inc. intends to capitalize on its experience in machine learning and micro services to strengthen the VeChain logistics stack. Eventually, the company, as an end-to-end solution provider with years of experience, will assist firms to develop all the requisite solutions on VeChain’s ToolChain and build dedicated smart contracts to back customer efforts. OCI explains the aim of the partnership as follows:

“Object Computing and VeChain share a common vision with regard to supply chain operations. Together, the two companies expect to turbo charge industry adoption of blockchain-enabled supply chain solutions.”

Ciju John, OCI’s senior software engineer, was upbeat about the partnership as reflected by the statement issued via LinkedIn:

“Thanks, we love the VeChain Tech Toolchain platform API’s and are excited to start building next-gen supply-chain solutions.”

Particularly, Object Computing In. is not a new name in crypto industry.
