Web3 Firm Cassava Inks MoU with Pan-Atlantic University on Blockchain Education and Advancement

Cassava Network has announced an agreement with Lagos’s Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) to deliver Web3 education to pupils. The innovative partnership will involve collaborative research, community projects, and exposure to Web3 in a company or organization. Cassava Network has revealed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with PAU in partnership with EMURGO Africa, the provincial venture division of Cardano blockchain founding entity EMURGO, to offer Web3 and Blockchain training programs for students, co-develop a blockchain technology reading material, and start preparing pupils for success in the Web3 worksite.

Cassava Network is constructing the necessary blockchain framework to drive Africa into the Web3 era. Using a digital identity solution, multi-chain wallet, incentives program, and NFTs, it aims to be the gateway that facilitates the shift from Web2 to Web3 for its customers. The business is pioneering Africa’s endeavors to revolutionize the web with Web3 while simultaneously creating a thriving community.

Mouloukou Sanoh, the co-founder of Cassava Network, remarked, “Our partnership with Pan-Atlantic University is a thrilling approach towards drawing the future generation of innovators to Web3.” They are the ideal partner to assist us in our objective to fuel Web3 training access and blockchain uptake in Africa. PAU students will participate in a Web3 and blockchain training program, arming them with the skills necessary for success in the Web3 sector. Connectivity to blockchain apprenticeships, business mentoring, and professional teamwork will be provided alongside the training program to assist graduates in their transition into the Web3 workforce. Cassava Network and EMURGO Africa will also collaborate with PAU to create a manual on blockchain technology and undertake collaborative study and community development programs.

“At PAU, we place a premium on industry partnerships because we strive to offer our students with state of the art, industry-oriented knowledge while also advancing industry growth via joint research. Dr. Pius Onobhayedo, chief of PAU’s Computer and Information Systems Department, stated “We look forward to developing a beneficial partnership with the Cardano blockchain network and affiliated corporate organizations.”

By now, blockchain technology has taken Africa by storm. Between July 2020 and June 2021, the market for blockchain technology on the African continent will increase by more than 250%. This optimistic approach displays the continent-wide desire for greater decentralization and civic engagement. This goal is accelerated by Cassava Network’s unique concept, which equips businesses with the tools required for incorporating blockchain technology in their apps.

Vincent Li, Co-Founder at Cassava Network, continued, “We are excited about the chance to share our knowledge and abilities with the growing community at Pan-Atlantic University. Learning is an essential component of our quest to migrate Africa’s Web to the blockchain, and we are concentrated on creating a robust society in the African blockchain space.”

Cassava Network, established in 2021 and domiciled in Nigeria, has created a flourishing Web3 environment. The blockchain firm unveiled a digital identity solution, a multi-chain wallet, an incentives platform, and non-fungible tokens last year. Since its inception, the framework has amassed more than 400,000 users and attracted some of Africa’s biggest companies, including Boomplay, Carry1st, and Scooper. Additionally, over two hundred thousand NFT images have been generated. The collaboration between Cassava Network and the Pan-Atlantic University paves the way for a thrilling year, accelerating Africa’s switchover from Web2 to Web3.
