Amazon Partners With Manifold To Offer Serverless blockchain services

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has entered into a partnership with Manifold Technology to provide serverless blockchain-based services. Under the partnership, Manifold technology’s highly scalable blockchain infrastructure is now accessible on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace in limited edition.

The availability of Manifold on AWS ensures blockchain benefits along with DevOps simplicity in just a few clicks.

Using the technology, the clients of AWS will be able to deploy their own blockchain infrastructure easily, quickly and at an extremely low operational cost. Manifold’s third-generation serverless platform offers distributed ledger capability along with blockchain auditability.

With tamper detection capability, a user will be able to detect any unwanted changes in data. Therefore, enterprises and application developers will be able to easily prototype of their blockchain based application and deploy it after successful testing. So, a hassle free transition into production is possible using the DevOps model.

Deploying blockchain-based applications on single block of infrastructures can be tiresome, expensive and complex process. By shifting those applications onto Manifold’s serverless infrastructure, there will be a drastic decrease in deployment difficulty and operating costs, facilitating quick transition into production.

Manifold’s infrastructure offers unmatched performance, making it useful in scenarios which demand extremely high transaction throughput. Manifold’s serverless architecture improves security by “simplifying integration and reducing the overall attack surface.”

Therefore, switching to serverless infrastructure is a win-win situation for enterprises looking to build and deploy blockchain-based applications without the limitations seen in other methods.

Commenting on the partnership, Chris Finan, Co-founder and CEO of Manifold said

“We’ve worked with dozens of enterprises to improve their applications with the auditability and tamper-evidencing benefits of a blockchain, giving them a trusted platform that reduces transaction silos, reconciliation overhead and settlement time. We saw an opportunity to embed our capability within AWS to provide a more seamless, scalable and cost-effective means of delivering those blockchain attributes. We’re excited to be partnering with AWS to bring our infrastructure capability to their customers.”

AWS launched the Manifold service in limited release last week.
