Microsoft and Nvidia Provides Cloud Based Access to Industrial Metaverse

Microsoft and Nvidia are working together to give “hundreds of millions” of Microsoft business users cloud-based access to the industrial metaverse and AI supercomputing capabilities.

• Omniverse Cloud is a platform-as-a-service that gives you immediate access to an environment for designing, developing, deploying, and managing industrial metaverse applications.

• DGX Cloud is an AI supercomputing service that gives you access to the infrastructure and software you need to train advanced models for generative AI and other applications.

The businesses are combining their efficiency and 3D communication tools by combining Nvidia’s Omniverse technology with Microsoft 365 apps like Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. With these programs, users can make and run 3D industrial metaverse apps. Businesses should be able to speed up their automation efforts, join the industrial metaverse, and make more advanced models for generative AI and other uses thanks to this partnership.

Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, says that big companies are in a race to digitize every part of their business and turn themselves into software-based technology businesses. Huang says that the biggest companies are in a race to digitize everything about their business. Nvidia AI and Omniverse are helping to speed up the process of digitizing factories. By adding Nvidia Omniverse Cloud to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, we can give users the best of both of our services.

The CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, says that a new age of tech is coming. Advanced AI core models and next-generation virtual experiences are coming together to form a new computing platform. We are working with Nvidia to combine the digital and physical worlds, automate business processes, model and predict results, and give our users access to a powerful AI machine.

By combining Omniverse with Azure digital clones and the Internet of Things, companies can connect their digital copies to live sensor data. This will let them make and run 3D digital copies that are more accurate, quick, and useful, and that can adapt to changes in the real world. Omniverse Cloud will be available on Azure in the second half of 2023, and DGX Cloud will be available in the next quarter, with monthly licenses to Nvidia’s DGX AI supercomputing and software.
