Tron Blockchain Founder Justin Sun Announces $1mln. Reward for Information on Twitter Hackers

Following the incident of Twitter account hacking, Tron founder Justin Sun has announced a bounty to those who expose the hackers. Sun is ready to reward $1 million to those who are responsible for tracking the hackers and offer requisite info.

In this regard, Sun, CEO of BitTorrent and Founder of Tron, said

Sun added:

“We are working closely with Twitter to resolve this issue immediately and return our accounts to normal. We are always vigilant in the handling our accounts; operating safely and responsibly — taking the security of our accounts to the highest standards possible. This only further illuminates the urgent need for our society to adopt decentralized, trustless software and services.”

To those who are unaware of what happened yesterday, hackers were able to gain access over several prominent Twitter account, including those of Gemini, Coinbase, and Tron Foundation, and other businesses, in addition to personal accounts of Charlie Lee, Justin Sun and several crypto influencers.

The hacking extends beyond crypto related personalities, with Elon Musk and Bill Gates losing control of their Twitter account. The messages posted by hackers on breached accounts include offers of Bitcoin (BTC) giveaways, fraudulent paid trading groups and other kind of partnership announcements.
