Miss Universe Taps Zetrix for Blockchain Voting App

Miss Universe Global Blockchain Voting App

The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) has unveiled a landmark collaboration with Zetrix, the Layer-1 public blockchain developed by Zetrix AI Berhad, previously known as MY E.G. Services Berhad. Together, they are launching the official Miss Universe Global Blockchain Voting App, a development that represents a first in the 73-year history of the iconic pageant.

Blockchain-Backed Voting

For the first time, global fans will be able to cast their votes in a manner that is both transparent and verifiable, thanks to blockchain’s secure infrastructure. The initiative ensures that each vote is authenticated, giving audiences confidence that their participation truly counts. In addition to voting, the app introduces artificial intelligence companions modeled after Miss Universe contestants, offering users an immersive experience that allows them to engage with the contestants’ personalities, values, and advocacies.

This initiative reflects MUO’s push toward innovation, transparency, and deeper fan engagement, while highlighting its intent to blend technology with tradition in a way that makes every voice meaningful.

Launch Event and Partnership Details

The official announcement was made at W Kuala Lumpur, where MUO President Raúl Rocha Cantú and Zetrix Co-Founder Dato’ Fadzli Shah exchanged the partnership agreement. Attendees at the event were given a preview of the app’s features, which are designed to celebrate both fans and contestants during the upcoming 74th Miss Universe Competition and in future editions.

The app will be available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, offering audiences an interactive avenue to connect with the pageant. Organizers emphasized that this innovation creates a closer connection between contestants and their supporters across the globe.
