Game Focused Refereum Partners With Decentralized Streaming Platform DLive
Refereum, US-based marketing company offering blockchain based rewards, is partnering with DLive, a decentralized streaming platform, for content programming.
Refereum’s collaboration with DLive, one of the largest streaming platform based on blockchain, will facilitate users to receive rewards for live-streaming games.
DLive is supposedly the first blockchain based streaming facility to start using Refereum platform, alongwith Twitch and Mixer. DLive CEO Charles Wayn brimmed with optimism about the partnership:
“Bringing benefits to our streamers is always one of DLive team’s priorities. We are so happy to partner with Refereum to achieve shared goals and ultimately benefit the whole content creators community.”
The integration of DLive with Refereum platform has taken shape already, facilitating gamers to begin earning rewards by interacting with a range of live streams.
Back in July, Refereum entered into a partnership with a South Korean games developer and publisher to widen its in-game rewards program. At that time, Refereum revealed its intention to launch a crypto payout feature to gamers of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, which had recorded more than 8 million sales.
Likewise, in April, PewDiePie, the most-subscribed individual on YouTube, started streaming solely on DLive. A month into the partnership, DLive experienced a 67% increase in monthly active users, with its audience accounting for over 5 million views and 70,000 streamers.
