Polygon and AlmaBetter Partner to Offer Blockchain and Web3 Educational Programs
Ethereum scaling platform Polygon has partnered with AlmaBetter to provide educational programs on blockchain and Web3 technology. AlmaBetter will host the course, which seeks to enroll 100,000 students by the end of March 2023.
According to a joint statement released by the two organizations on Thursday, Polygon will serve as AlmaBetter’s official curriculum and employment partner. $MATIC tokens, the native token of the Polygon blockchain, will also be given to the best students who complete the course successfully.
Full-stack web development, with a focus on Web3 development, will be taught in a 28-week curriculum that will end with a placement drive. Basic programming, system design, cloud services, and blockchain technologies are all covered in the course. A total of five modules make up the curriculum, with the first four focusing on front-end development, the fifth on back-end development, and the last one on Web3 blockchain technology.
“Because of this partnership, we will be able to provide high-quality services that meet current industry demands. In addition to making it interesting and motivating for students, Polygon’s hiring will also have an impact on the ecosystem.” – Almabetter co-founder Shivam Dutta
According to a press release, registration for this program is now available to anybody interested in launching a career in Web3 for a small, refundable security deposit. An increase in the number of Web3 firms has prompted the introduction of this course. Globally and in India, Web3 learning and education is a hot topic, especially for students.
