Seattle NFT Museum Announces Fashion Focused ‘Pixel and Thread’ Exhibition

The Seattle NFT Museum has announced the theme of its forthcoming show, “Pixel and Thread,” which will run from September 9 to November 3. In a press statement, the show’s curator, Joana Kawahara Lino, stated, “In this show, we want to spotlight producers and collectives who are developing new representations of ‘brand’ on the blockchain.”

Lino continued: “From one of the leading fashion-forward non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to apparel built for NFTs, and from renowned Fashion Week professionals to innovative metaverse apparel makers, we are eager to display fashion as a complete and vastly sophisticated artistic medium.”

Amongst some of the listed artists will be digital-only fashion firm The Fabricant which will present works by former and current partners, Shavonne Wong, Nicopanda, Pabllo Vittar, and World of Women. During the presentation, digital artists and fashion designers Wildflowernft, Ashley Okoli, and K0nktz will also take part, in addition to the carbon-neutral digital art marketplace Voice.

Tickets for the show are now available for purchase on the museum’s platform, with a VIP sample event planned for the opening. Visitors will get the chance to listen to several of the showcased artists throughout the occasion.
