GDAX, a professional trading platform for individuals, has undergone a name change to Coinbase Pro, which is easily recognizable due to the popularity of Coinbase, a cryptocurrency exchange with more than 13 million customers. GDAX, which was launched in 2015, offers the much needed liquidity and stability in the cryptocurrency space. Furthermore, Coinbase has stated that GDAX enabled them to understand the specific needs of cryptocurrency traders.
