Cardano Eclipses Ethereum in On-Chain Activity

Cardano is now in first position with respect to transaction volume, ahead of Litecoin and Ethereum, according to latest statistics from Messari. Specifically, Cardano surpassed Litecoin and Ethereum in trading volume with $17.04 billion, whereas the latter had $7.20 billion and $5.25 billion, respectively, in 24-hour volumes.

It’s still a good idea to use transaction volume adjustments to focus on just the most critical ones. Both Litecoin and Ethereum were behind Cardano in adjusted volumes. Cardano had a 24-hour volume of $16.71 billion, which was more than Litecoin’s $97.81 million and Ethereum’s 3.84 billion.

Cardano is beating major cryptos Bitcoin and Ethereum in transaction activity, according to U.Today, and also a surge in fresh ADA addresses. There has been a 13 GB increase in the Cardano blockchain’s size since the beginning of 2022, according to information provided by the Cardano Blockchain Insights Twitter account.

According to Santiment statistics, Cardano is among the most aggressively developing networks in the blockchain sector. As per the Activity Contributors Count, Cardano is already in the top three with respect to contributions.

Increasingly, the Cardano blockchain is being used by programmers to create new applications, thanks to the addition of smart contracts to the platform. SundaeSwap is the biggest decentralized trading platform ever, with a minimum of 98% as total value locked.
