Blockchain Research Institute Expands Footprint in Africa By Partnering with Standard Bank
The Blockchain Research Institute (BRI) has extended its operations across the continent via a partnership with Standard Bank, one among Africa’s leading banks. The alliance established the Blockchain Research Initiative (BRI) Africa, which draws together professors, legislators, businessmen, and scholars to study on blockchain technology, breaking down barriers between blockchain’s theoretical capabilities and actual market demand.
Simply put, the institute is now engaged in more than 100 ventures with the goal of identifying the strategic potential, risks, and consequences of blockchain technology for industry, government, and community. As portion of its efforts to disseminate accumulated information throughout the nation, the think tank’s mission will include the provision of educational offerings such as webinars, publications, and conferences.
Additionally, the institution will provide an online program in partnership with INSEAD and Coursera. Additionally, the institution’s Africa Blockchain Incubation Program fosters business plans centered on blockchain technology. As per BRI Africa, the initiative, which is now accessible in Egypt and Zimbabwe, provides tools to help young entrepreneurs build and expand their businesses.
