A new collaboration between XPLA, the Korea Mobile Game Association (KMGA), and blockchain tech firm PUNKVISM has set the stage for the launch of a comprehensive Web3 Game Incubation Program. This initiative, which expands the existing Web3 Game Acceleration Consortium, is intended to support the development and launch of promising blockchain-based games while ensuring seamless integration with XPLA’s Tendermint-based Layer 1 mainnet.
As part of the strategic partnership, the trio plans to work collectively to identify high-potential Web3 gaming projects and provide full-cycle support—from concept development to market entry. The program aims to facilitate smoother onboarding onto the XPLA network, which is recognized as the first ISAE 3000-certified mainnet. Beyond technical support, the program will also deliver long-term guidance for project growth and sustainability in the blockchain gaming sector.
XPLA’s leadership emphasized the vast potential in Web3 gaming while acknowledging the persistent challenges developers face in entering the space. It was stated that the goal of the collaboration is to help reduce these entry barriers by offering a stable development environment and a supportive global ecosystem.
According to the announcement published on XPLA’s official Medium page, the incubation program will provide developers with robust infrastructure, access to blockchain tools, and avenues for strategic growth. Developers will benefit from technical assistance, investment opportunities, publishing partnerships, and global exposure. This end-to-end support structure is intended to bridge the gap between innovation and commercial viability in the Web3 gaming landscape.
Each organization in the partnership is expected to contribute distinct strengths to the program. XPLA’s role will center on delivering technical and infrastructural support, including optimization services and mainnet integration. KMGA, with its deep roots in Korea’s mobile gaming industry, is expected to provide educational resources, industry networking opportunities, and consultancy services. Meanwhile, PUNKVISM will focus on identifying promising projects by leveraging its experience in NFTs and Real World Assets (RWAs), helping these ventures gain traction in the competitive Web3 gaming market.
It was also noted in the announcement that this initiative marks just the beginning of a long-term commitment to fostering innovation in blockchain gaming. The consortium is expected to expand further with additional projects, partners, and support mechanisms envisioned in the pipeline.
Although specific timelines for the launch of the Web3 Game Incubation Program were not disclosed, the consortium has already begun building momentum. No application process has been publicly released, and it remains uncertain whether developers will apply directly or be approached by the partners. Nonetheless, the message to Web3 game creators was clear—continue developing innovative projects and stay connected with XPLA’s official channels for updates.
The announcement also highlighted XPLA’s existing experience in onboarding high-profile games to its platform, citing titles such as The Walking Dead: All-Stars, Summoners War: Chronicles, and Heirs of Light: Eclipse as examples. This track record is intended to serve as a testament to the chain’s capacity to support a diverse portfolio of blockchain-based games.
Through this partnership-driven incubation program, XPLA, KMGA, and PUNKVISM aim to reshape the blockchain gaming landscape by offering developers the tools and support necessary to transform creative concepts into globally scalable Web3 gaming experiences.
