Uproot Company, known for its AI-powered digital asset investment solutions, revealed that its Chief Operating Officer, Seung-gu Kang, has taken on the role of Web3 Advisor for VSV Capital, recognized as Vietnam’s first startup accelerator.
VSV Capital has played a pivotal role in shaping Vietnam’s entrepreneurial ecosystem since its launch, with active investments ranging from Seed to Series B funding rounds. In 2022, the firm received recognition from Singapore-based technology publication Tech in Asia as the country’s most active venture capital investor, further cementing its influence in the region’s startup scene.
The partnership between Uproot Company and VSV Capital began in 2024 when Uproot joined the Global Accelerating Support Program, in which VSV acted as a partner. Since then, the two organizations have deepened their collaboration, notably through the joint development and release of a localized version of Uproot’s AI-driven Bitsaving platform designed specifically for Vietnamese investors.
In his new capacity as Web3 Advisor, Kang expressed an intention to enhance the understanding of Bitcoin in Vietnam, emphasizing its position as the first and most significant form of Web3-based digital currency. He also conveyed plans to guide local investors toward making informed, accessible, and long-term investment decisions, while helping the country maintain a competitive edge in the fast-changing digital economy.
Looking to the future, Uproot Company anticipates that its AI and blockchain data analytics-powered investment platform will evolve into a trusted resource for long-term wealth creation within Vietnam. In line with this objective, the company is leading the Vietnamese translation and distribution of the “Bitcoin Diploma,” an official educational program introduced by El Salvador’s Ministry of Education. This initiative seeks to strengthen public knowledge about digital assets and encourage responsible, sustainable investing in a market where structured education on Bitcoin is still scarce.
By advancing these initiatives, Uproot aims to equip Vietnamese investors with the skills, tools, and confidence required to participate effectively in the global digital asset economy. The company views this combination of education, technology, and advisory support as a strategic pathway to fostering a more informed and resilient investment community in Vietnam.
