BNB Chain has introduced BNB Agent Studio, a developer toolkit designed to simplify the creation, deployment, and management of autonomous artificial intelligence agents on its blockchain. The platform is now available on the BNB Smart Chain mainnet and combines identity registration, payment automation, and deployment into a unified workflow, reducing the technical complexity traditionally associated with building blockchain-based AI applications.

The toolkit emphasizes automation throughout the development process. Developers can describe the functionality of an AI agent using a single prompt within supported coding environments, including Cursor and Claude Code. Once the request is submitted, the platform automatically performs several key tasks, including wallet creation, on-chain identity registration through the ERC-8004 standard, task interface registration using ERC-8183, and deployment to AWS Bedrock’s AgentCore runtime.
The platform also supports autonomous operation after deployment. AI agents can automatically replenish their large language model credits through the x402 payment protocol using funds from the wallet established during deployment, minimizing the need for manual intervention and allowing developers to focus on application development rather than infrastructure management.
Growing AI ecosystem drives blockchain expansion
The launch follows continued expansion of BNB Chain’s AI ecosystem. By the first quarter of 2026, the blockchain network reported nearly 69,000 AI agent deployments. External industry data published in April indicated that the number of active AI agents operating on the network had exceeded 150,000.
According to BNB Chain, the introduction of open standards such as ERC-8004 for digital identity and ERC-8183 for task interfaces has supported this growth by enabling interoperability between AI agents while allowing decentralized verification of their activities across the network.
The company explained that the new toolkit addresses a major challenge faced by developers, who previously had to combine services from multiple vendors to handle wallets, hosting, payments, and deployment. It stated that BNB Agent Studio replaces this fragmented approach with a unified command-line interface that integrates directly with widely used AI development environments, significantly simplifying the development process.
