Aero Protocol Sets October 21 Launch Across Seven Blockchain Networks

The Aero protocol, created through the merger of Aerodrome and Velodrome, is set to launch on October 21 across seven blockchain networks, bringing the two decentralized trading platforms under a unified multichain structure.

The launch will include major networks such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Robinhood Chain, expanding the protocol’s reach across multiple blockchain ecosystems. The merger is also expected to simplify the project’s token structure by combining the existing assets associated with the two platforms into a single AERO token.

Aero Targets Larger Share of EVM Trading

The consolidation comes as the combined platform seeks to increase its presence in the decentralized exchange market. Aero currently accounts for about 17% of trading volume across Ethereum Virtual Machine networks, according to the report.
