MindWave Innovations Inc., a subsidiary of Apimeds Pharmaceuticals US Inc., has entered into a 12-month software development agreement with Flash Sports & Media Holdings Inc. to develop and operate FlashChain, a blockchain network designed to manage digital sports tickets, broadcasting rights, video assets, and related transactions.
The agreement marks an expansion of blockchain technology into sports media infrastructure, with Flash Sports retaining ownership of the FlashChain network and its associated Digital Asset and Ticketing Ledger.
MindWave will deploy a dedicated FlashChain subnet on its MindChain Layer-2 infrastructure and operate the validator nodes, while Flash Sports will retain ownership of the blockchain network and its digital asset and ticketing ledger.
The companies announced the agreement as Flash Sports prepared to use the network for digital ticketing and sports-media applications. The platform was officially launched on Sept. 28, 2026, according to the announcement.
Blockchain Infrastructure for Sports Ticketing
Under the agreement, MindWave will develop two core software components for FlashChain. The first will connect Flash Sports’ FLASHSM direct-to-consumer streaming application and ticketing platforms with the blockchain network.
The second component will consist of smart contracts designed to authenticate digital match tickets and manage digital sports memorabilia. Flash Sports will receive a perpetual license to use both software components on FlashChain.
The system is also expected to connect online stadium ticketing platforms with stadium gate-scanning hardware. This architecture is intended to allow ticket information to move through the blockchain-based ledger from issuance and transactions to verification at stadium entrances.
Smart contracts will be used to authenticate digital match tickets while recording transactions involving broadcasting rights, video assets and digital sports memorabilia, creating a blockchain-based record intended to reduce counterfeiting and unauthorized duplication.
Focus on High-Traffic Sporting Events
FlashChain is being designed to handle the traffic spikes associated with major sporting events. MindWave will provide system monitoring, live-event troubleshooting, and technical support during scheduled broadcasts and high-demand match days.
The initial focus includes T20 cricket tournaments, where large numbers of users may access ticketing, streaming, and related digital services within short periods.
MindWave will also provide staff training and maintain network security and secure backups of transaction histories. These services are intended to support the operational requirements of a blockchain platform used during live events, where interruptions or authentication problems could affect large numbers of spectators and viewers.
The dedicated subnet structure is expected to give Flash Sports greater control over the blockchain environment while allowing MindWave to manage the underlying validator infrastructure.
Digital Assets and Fan Engagement
FlashChain will extend beyond conventional digital ticketing. Its Digital Asset and Ticketing Ledger is expected to record authenticated match tickets, digital sports memorabilia, and transactions involving sports-related media assets.
The system could provide a common digital record for ticket inventory and related assets while giving Flash Sports a framework for connecting streaming, ticketing, and stadium-entry systems.
The arrangement also allows the platform to accommodate digital collectibles and other media-linked transactions alongside ticketing operations.
Compensation Includes FLASH TOKEN Allocation
As compensation for its development and infrastructure services, MindWave will receive common shares of Flash Sports as well as an allocation equal to 20% of the total supply of FLASH TOKEN, the platform token associated with FlashChain.
The agreement also includes an annual maintenance fee equal to 50% of the applicable contract consideration. The companies did not disclose the aggregate dollar value of the agreement.
The partnership gives Flash Sports a dedicated blockchain infrastructure for sports ticketing and media assets while providing MindWave with an equity and token-based economic interest in the FlashChain ecosystem.
Agreement Runs for 12 Months
The initial agreement covers 12 months, with detailed technical specifications and delivery schedules to be established through a separate statement of work. The companies may renew technical support annually after the initial term.
Flash Sports will retain ownership of the FlashChain network, its branding and the resulting digital ticketing ledger. MindWave will remain responsible for development, validator operations, monitoring, security support and technical assistance under the agreement.
The launch places blockchain infrastructure directly into the operational side of sports entertainment, combining ticket authentication, streaming integration, digital asset management and live-event support within a single network.
