Blockdaemon has joined the first cohort of the Cosmos Partner Network, strengthening a collaboration aimed at helping financial institutions expand their use of tokenization and digital assets. The development comes as institutional demand for blockchain infrastructure continues to grow, with Blockdaemon reporting that it secures more than $110 billion in digital assets for over 400 institutional customers.
Cosmos launched its Partner Network in September with 17 initial participants spanning blockchain infrastructure, custody, compliance, security, and other services required by financial institutions. The network is designed to reduce the complexity involved in assembling multiple technology providers as banks and other financial companies develop tokenized financial products.
Blockdaemon’s inclusion gives financial institutions access to infrastructure covering nodes, APIs, staking and institutional wallet services as part of a broader ecosystem designed to support tokenized deposits and other digital-asset initiatives.
Blockdaemon Brings Institutional Infrastructure
Blockdaemon has positioned itself as a blockchain infrastructure provider for banks, asset managers, custodians, exchanges, and other financial institutions. Its current platform supports more than 400 institutions and secures over $110 billion in digital assets, according to the company’s website.
The company provides infrastructure across several parts of the digital-asset stack, including blockchain nodes, application programming interfaces, staking services and multi-party computation wallets. Its platform also supports institutional applications involving tokenized securities, funds and real-world assets.
The scale of Blockdaemon’s institutional customer base is significant because financial firms increasingly require infrastructure that can meet traditional standards for security, compliance, reliability and operational control. The company’s existing relationships with major financial institutions could also provide a channel for blockchain-based financial applications to reach a wider institutional market.
Cosmos Expands Tokenization Infrastructure
The Cosmos Partner Network is focused on helping banks move digital-asset projects from development and testing toward production environments. Cosmos provides the tokenization and digital-ledger infrastructure, while participating companies contribute specialized services such as custody, compliance monitoring, wallet technology, and security.
Cosmos said the network is intended to support tokenized deposits and related financial applications, including around-the-clock settlement, treasury management, programmable escrow and other blockchain-enabled financial services. The initiative reflects a broader effort among financial institutions to use distributed-ledger technology for payments and asset management.
The first cohort includes companies working across custody, trading, blockchain security, compliance and infrastructure. Blockdaemon’s role adds institutional-grade blockchain connectivity and digital-asset infrastructure to that group.

The partnership could help banks and other financial institutions combine Cosmos’ tokenization and ledger capabilities with Blockdaemon’s established infrastructure, potentially making it easier to deploy digital-asset products without assembling separate technology stacks from scratch.
Institutional Adoption Remains the Key Focus
The development comes against a backdrop of growing institutional experimentation with tokenized deposits, securities and other blockchain-based financial instruments. Cosmos said only a small portion of major global banks currently have live tokenized-deposit capabilities, suggesting that the market remains at an early stage despite growing investment in the technology.
For financial institutions, partnerships such as this could address one of the principal obstacles to wider blockchain adoption: the need to integrate infrastructure from multiple specialist providers while maintaining regulatory and operational standards.
Blockdaemon‘s existing institutional footprint may also give Cosmos access to customers already operating in digital assets, while Cosmos can provide an additional platform for financial institutions exploring tokenized money and on-chain settlement.
As financial institutions move more assets and payment activity onto blockchain networks, the combination of institutional infrastructure and tokenization technology could support broader adoption of on-chain finance and create new opportunities for banks, developers and enterprise technology providers.
The immediate significance of the partnership is therefore less about short-term cryptocurrency price movements and more about infrastructure development. If institutional tokenization continues to expand, service providers capable of delivering secure, interoperable and production-ready systems could become increasingly important to the next stage of digital finance.
