BPMG Subsidiary ARACORE Partners With South Korea’s DOZN on Stablecoin Settlements

BPMG, a blockchain and artificial intelligence company, is expanding its international payment infrastructure strategy through a new partnership between its US-based subsidiary, ARACORE, and South Korean fintech company DOZN. The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to explore stablecoin-based cross-border payment and settlement services connected to South Korea’s financial system.

The collaboration aims to establish potential links between South Korea’s domestic banking and payment infrastructure and international stablecoin settlement networks, allowing transactions denominated in South Korean won to connect with cross-border digital asset payment systems.

The agreement brings together DOZN’s domestic financial infrastructure, payment services, and foreign exchange capabilities with ARACORE’s Institutional Settlement Network (ISN). The companies intend to assess how the two platforms could work together to facilitate international payments, remittances, and financial settlements.

Stablecoin Infrastructure for Cross-Border Payments

Under the MOU, ARACORE and DOZN will examine different transaction models that could connect won-denominated financial activities with stablecoin-based international settlement. The assessment will include the integration of financial application programming interfaces (APIs), payment systems, and settlement infrastructure.

Regulatory compliance will also be a central component of the collaboration. Both companies plan to evaluate the legal and operational requirements associated with introducing stablecoin-supported payment and settlement services within the South Korean financial environment.

The proposed cooperation will extend beyond preliminary discussions, with the companies planning proof-of-concept testing and pilot projects to evaluate the technical feasibility of the proposed infrastructure.

These initiatives are expected to help determine whether the combined systems can support practical cross-border transactions and whether the resulting services could eventually be commercialized. However, the companies have not announced a specific timeline for the testing phase or a potential commercial launch.

The agreement remains exploratory, with any future implementation dependent on technical assessments, business considerations, and applicable regulatory approvals.

DOZN and ARACORE Bring Complementary Financial Infrastructure

DOZN provides financial infrastructure and digital banking solutions, serving businesses and financial institutions through several services. Its offerings include financial value-added network services, corporate banking solutions, virtual accounts, and cross-border foreign exchange and settlement services.

These capabilities position DOZN within South Korea’s domestic financial ecosystem, particularly where traditional banking services and won-denominated payment transactions connect with international financial activities.

ARACORE, meanwhile, is developing its Institutional Settlement Network to facilitate coordination between financial institutions, stablecoin issuers, liquidity providers, and payment service providers.

The network is designed to connect different participants involved in international financial transactions, helping coordinate cross-border payments and settlements across multiple jurisdictions.

By combining DOZN’s established domestic financial infrastructure with ARACORE’s stablecoin-oriented settlement network, the companies intend to examine a framework that could connect traditional fiat-based payment systems with blockchain-enabled international settlement services.

The planned pilot programs will assess how effectively the two infrastructure layers can communicate through existing financial APIs while meeting the operational and regulatory standards required for financial services.

ARACORE Expands Its Global Settlement Ecosystem

The partnership with DOZN represents another step in ARACORE’s broader strategy to develop an international settlement network through collaborations with banking institutions, digital asset companies, and payment service providers.

The company is already involved in stablecoin-based remittance initiatives with Kbank and HashKey. It has also joined the Paxos-led Global Dollar Network, an initiative focused on expanding the adoption and utility of dollar-backed stablecoins.

Additionally, ARACORE has established partnerships with Stable and Malaysia-based TEIZA as part of its efforts to broaden its international settlement ecosystem.

These relationships reflect an approach centered on connecting different financial infrastructure providers rather than relying on a single payment network or settlement platform.

The addition of DOZN brings a KOSDAQ-listed South Korean financial infrastructure provider into ARACORE’s partnership network, potentially creating access to won-denominated transaction flows and expanding its reach into the South Korean market.

The outcome of the collaboration will depend on the results of the proposed technical pilots, the commercial viability of the settlement models, and the regulatory framework governing stablecoin-related financial services in South Korea.

If successful, the initiative could provide a foundation for connecting domestic banking infrastructure with international stablecoin settlement networks, although the companies have yet to commit to a commercial deployment.
