New service combines euro banking, Bitcoin payments and self-custody

Bringin has launched an invite-only beta of Bringin for Business, a euro account service designed to help companies hold, receive, and spend Bitcoin and stablecoins while retaining control of their digital assets. Available to businesses across 30 European countries, the offering provides each company with a dedicated virtual international bank account number (vIBAN) issued in its own name, enabling access to payments through the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).

The service combines euro banking, cryptocurrency payments, self-custody and exchange capabilities within a single platform, aiming to simplify business finances for companies operating with Bitcoin and stablecoins.

The new product extends Bringin’s consumer platform, which the company reports has processed more than 15 million euros in transactions. Its business-focused offering is intended to address the challenges companies face when integrating digital assets into routine financial operations.

Targeting banking restrictions and payment inefficiencies

European companies using Bitcoin and stablecoins frequently encounter difficulties connecting their digital asset holdings with conventional banking services. Bringin has identified restrictions on business bank accounts, blocked transfers, and repeated conversion fees as significant operational obstacles.

Businesses must also manage financial records across disconnected systems, complicating accounting and reconciliation. Compliance with the Financial Action Task Force’s Travel Rule, which requires certain information about parties involved in qualifying cryptocurrency transfers, adds documentation requirements to transactions.

Despite growing business interest in the potential benefits of digital assets, including faster settlement, international accessibility and potentially lower transaction costs, converting cryptocurrency holdings into practical working capital remains challenging for many companies.

Bringin for Business seeks to narrow this gap by integrating euro accounts with Bitcoin wallets and payment services. Companies can hold Bitcoin in their treasuries, accept Bitcoin, Lightning Network payments, and stablecoins, and pay suppliers and employees using Bitcoin.

The platform also integrates accounting and tax reporting tools, allowing businesses to consolidate financial records and reduce manual reconciliation. Application programming interfaces (APIs) support the automation of routine operations, including workflows managed by artificial intelligence agents.

Secure self-custody and European regulatory framework

Custody and control are central to the product’s design. According to Bringin, private keys associated with a company’s Bitcoin are generated within a hardware-isolated secure enclave. The company said it does not have access to the underlying raw keys.

Transactions can be signed only inside the secure environment after an authorized company owner completes authentication. This approach is intended to preserve company control over digital assets while introducing access restrictions and governance mechanisms suited to business operations.

Bringin founder and CEO Prashanth Chandrashekar said businesses using Bitcoin continued to face difficulties obtaining euro accounts and transferring funds between conventional banking systems and cryptocurrency wallets. He explained that the product was designed to prioritize self-custody while making payments more straightforward.

The service uses infrastructure provided by Lightspark Payments Europe AS, which Bringin identifies as authorized under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework. This infrastructure provides a regulated foundation for connecting cryptocurrency-related services with euro payment operations.

Beta attracts businesses across the Bitcoin ecosystem

The initial beta includes 15 businesses, among them providers of Lightning payment tools, mining equipment sellers and organizers of Bitcoin conferences. Early participants are using the accounts for cross-border payments and instant Bitcoin-to-euro conversions.

Their participation highlights the product’s initial focus on businesses already active in the Bitcoin industry, where managing digital asset holdings alongside conventional banking is an ongoing operational requirement.

Bringin plans to introduce additional international payment channels beyond SEPA, although it has not announced a launch schedule. The service remains invitation-only, and interested companies can request access through the company’s website.

By bringing self-custodied Bitcoin holdings and euro payment capabilities together, Bringin is seeking to make digital assets more practical for everyday corporate financial management while retaining business control over private keys. Its longer-term prospects will depend on adoption, the expansion of payment connectivity, and the platform’s ability to meet companies’ banking, compliance, and operational requirements.
