Coinbase Pro Trading Platform Will List Tezos in August
Coinbase, popular cryptocurrency platform of the US, is listing Tezos (XTZ) to it institutional level trading platform Coinbase Pro. The platform will start accepting XTZ deposits beginning August 5. The company intends to follow the steps it implemented while adding cryptos previously:
1. Transfer-only facility.
2. Post-only feature.
3. Limit-only attribute and lastly
4. Full trading facility.
Furthermore, the exchange will soon post necessary guidelines on Twitter. The listing can be accessed by clients of all jurisdictions in the US, except New York State.
The company also pointed out that Tezos is not offered on its main website, Coinbase.com or its mobile apps. Along with cryptocurrency XTZ, Tezos allows smart contracts and proof-of-stake voting through crypto ledgering facility.
Notably, BTG Pactual, a key Latin American investment bank, stated that it intends to transfer its security token offerings onto the Tezos blockchain and smart contracts platform. Dalma Capital, which has collaborated with BTG Pactual, also intends to use Tezos to tokenize a range of digital assets such as real estate, equity lending, and also global sports clubs.
