Colombia to Employ XRPL Blockchain for Land Registry

Peersyst Technology, a tech company located in Barcelona and a Ripple associate, has revealed the rollout of Colombia’s initial National Land Registry using the XRPL Blockchain after working on the project for a whole year.

The solution was developed for Colombia’s National Land Agency, which is known as “AgenciaTierras.” It is centered on the XRP stamp, which allows cryptos to be enrolled on XRPL and their validity to be evaluated using a QR code. The platform has been deployed. In a very short period of time, the solution intends to record over 100,000 adjudications in order to ensure the faith of Colombians.

Peersyst Technology is not just a user of the XRPL blockchain, but it has also been a Ripple associate for a very long time. On its main website, a direct reference is made to its partnership with the Ripple payment network. In the latest tweet, the firm also discussed its decision to continue its partnership with the financial technology business Ripple, saying, “Thrilled to extend our partnership for the next year as the trustworthy blockchain firm introducing technology with our associate Ripple.”

An announcement on the rollout of Clio 1.0, an XRP Ledger API server, was made by Ripple CTO Joel Katz. This new version has the primary objective of greatly improving the scalable feature of access to XRPL information. It is hoped that the newly published XRP Ledger API server would make horizontal scaling simpler, increase performance for API calls, and minimize memory utilization and storage overhead.

Santiment reports that recent days on the XRP platform saw the highest daily count of distinct addresses connecting to the platform in around two years and six months. The count of daily active addresses on XRP blockchain has surpassed 200,000, marking the foremost time since February 2020 that this milestone has been reached.

Santiment, an on-chain analytics service, said on its blog on June 30 the following: “XRP is performing better than other cryptocurrencies on a Thursday cryptocurrency decline day.” The number of distinct addresses actively engaging on the XRP Network has skyrocketed, passing the 200k threshold for the foremost time since February 2020. “You should definitely track this.”
