Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) has entered into a strategic collaboration with Blockchain for Impact (BFI) to set up a MedTech incubation center in Visakhapatnam. The initiative is intended to accelerate the development of non-invasive diagnostic tools and patient monitoring technologies by fostering clinician-led innovation and providing structured support to emerging startups.
The incubation facility will be established at GITAM’s medical campus, where it is expected to create a collaborative ecosystem bringing together healthcare professionals, engineers, and entrepreneurs. This environment is designed to enable the transformation of clinical ideas into practical and scalable healthcare solutions.
Under a formal Memorandum of Understanding, BFI will extend grant funding to support both the establishment and ongoing operations of the incubation center at the GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research.
