Japan Media Arts Inc. has unveiled details regarding the inaugural sale of their idle blockchain game, “ELYSIUM’S EDGE,” featuring a collaboration with renowned manga artist Kamui Fujiwara and the introduction of exclusive “Meat NFTs” offering dining privileges at Shibuya Niku Yokocho.
Manga Artist Kamui Fujiwara Joins ELYSIUM’S EDGE
Elysium’s Edge, also known as “Erikuri,” is a collaborative endeavor spearheaded by Japan Media Arts Inc., with Frontier Works Inc. overseeing illustration production, KINGSYSTEM PTE. LTD managing publishing, and Vanguard CO., LTD providing development support.
Renowned manga artist Kamui Fujiwara, recognized for works such as “Emblem of Roto,” has officially joined Erikuri, aligning with the project’s objective of involving a diverse array of creators and authors within a shared world model.
Fujiwara’s involvement extends to supporting Erikuri’s social initiative, the Erikuri Asia Social Action project, by crafting illustrations for NFTs. These NFTs will not only serve as a funding mechanism for the project but will also possess practical functionalities within the game. Moreover, each transaction involving these NFTs will trigger a predetermined donation allocation to the social support project. The visual unveiling of these NFTs is slated for the upcoming second sale event in the summer.
Issuance of “Meat NFTs” for Dining Benefits at Shibuya Niku Yokocho
A collaborative agreement has been forged with Shibuya Niku Yokocho, a prominent meat-centric entertainment hub in Tokyo, to introduce a pioneering Web3-linked initiative termed “Meat NFTs.”
The concept of Meat NFTs entails the utilization of NFTs obtainable or purchasable within the Erikuri game or affiliated outlets, which can then be redeemed for dining benefits at various establishments within Shibuya Niku Yokocho. The service is scheduled to debut concurrently with the official game release anticipated in December 2024.
As users engage with the game, they will have the opportunity to acquire coupons, fostering increased patronage at participating venues. Simultaneously, this initiative aims to bolster the circulation and holdings of ELYGT (ELY Governance Token), issued by KINGSYSTEM PTE. LTD., thereby augmenting the token’s value.
With the commencement of the first sale, Erikuri seeks to stabilize the circulation and amplify the value of its proprietary token through external collaborations facilitated by ELYGT. The overarching objective is to instill long-term customer confidence in token management.
The inaugural sale will kick off at 11:00 AM (GMT) on April 26th (Friday), offering NFTs for in-game use alongside predetermined utility cases for the governance token, ELYGT, beyond the confines of the game.
