The AB Charity Foundation, operating under the joint banner of AB Foundation and AB Blockchain, has announced the induction of ten globally recognized statespersons and international affairs experts into its Senior Advisory Board. This move is viewed as a significant enhancement of the Foundation’s strategic think tank and is expected to strengthen its efforts to promote philanthropy through technological innovation and global partnerships.
With the latest additions, the Foundation’s advisory network now covers five continents and includes close to thirty individuals comprising both current and former heads of state, leaders of global organizations, and seasoned policy experts. The collective is being positioned as a “Global Philanthropy Strategy Engine” that transcends cultural, institutional, and sectoral boundaries to drive large-scale collaboration.
Bertie Ahern, who serves as Chair of the Foundation and is also a former Prime Minister of Ireland, welcomed the newly appointed advisors by emphasizing the importance of combining policy leadership with emerging technologies. He suggested that achieving a trustworthy, inclusive, and sustainable global philanthropic ecosystem required aligning governance knowledge with digital innovation. He further underscored that advancing the “Tech for Good” initiative necessitated cooperative global efforts.
The AB Charity Foundation has reiterated its commitment to expanding its governance and advisory framework. Plans are underway to deepen collaboration with key players in international development, including United Nations agencies, non-governmental organizations, governmental institutions, and major technology companies. The objective is to support and scale verifiable acts of goodwill in areas that are critical to human and environmental well-being—namely education, public health, ecological conservation, and disaster response.
The individuals joining the Senior Advisory Board are expected to contribute strategic insight and diplomatic expertise that will enhance the Foundation’s operational effectiveness and global legitimacy. By involving influential figures from diverse geopolitical and professional backgrounds, the organization aims to reinforce the credibility of its mission and open new avenues for multilateral cooperation.
The AB Charity Foundation operates as an independent international non-governmental organization registered in Ireland and holding EU legal status. It functions with technical backing from AB DAO, leveraging advanced technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence to construct a next-generation philanthropic infrastructure. The Foundation has positioned itself at the intersection of governance and technology, promoting a model that prioritizes accountability, transparency, and scalability in delivering global public goods.
In addition to its philanthropic pursuits, the Foundation’s native digital asset, $AB, is currently being traded on more than a dozen cryptocurrency exchanges. These include Bitget, HTX, MEXC, Gate, BingX, BitMart, DigiFinex, LBank, Hotcoin, Biconomy, BTSE, UEEx, WEEX, and 4E. The availability of $AB on these platforms reflects the Foundation’s expanding presence in the digital finance ecosystem.
Through its growing network of advisors and ongoing technological integration, the AB Charity Foundation appears to be taking deliberate steps toward redefining how global philanthropy is structured and delivered. The Foundation’s leadership has signaled a clear intent to merge institutional governance with technological potential, aiming to make philanthropy more transparent, inclusive, and impactful on a worldwide scale.
