Alphea, a newly introduced Layer 1 blockchain initiative focused on artificial intelligence infrastructure, officially presented its decentralized execution environment at the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2026. During the event, the team outlined its architectural framework for an AI-native operating layer designed to integrate execution, persistent memory, and verifiable computation as foundational components rather than optional application-level features. The presentation was delivered by Dee Lee, who serves as Chief Publishing Officer and also leads the company’s UAE operations.

Lee explained that the project envisions a transition in how AI systems are utilized, moving from tools controlled by humans to independent operators capable of managing tasks autonomously. The platform, according to the presentation, aims to create an environment where AI agents can execute processes, maintain state, and coordinate services without continuous human oversight.

Addressing Infrastructure Gaps in AI

Alphea’s leadership indicated that current AI ecosystems face structural limitations. While modern AI models are highly capable of generating outputs, the surrounding infrastructure—such as cloud computing, storage systems, billing frameworks, and coordination mechanisms—remains heavily centralized and built around human interaction. The company suggested that this mismatch creates a bottleneck as AI evolves toward autonomous execution.

Henry Park, the founder and CEO, reportedly explained that although AI systems can generate a wide range of outputs, they still depend on human intervention for deployment, operation, and maintenance. He conveyed that Alphea is working to establish an infrastructure layer where AI systems can not only produce outcomes but also operate continuously, requiring a rethinking of execution, memory management, and economic structures from the ground up.

The company emphasized that its platform is designed to enable AI systems to operate independently by embedding execution, storage, and economic mechanisms directly into the blockchain layer.

Delta: Enabling Autonomous Execution

A key innovation introduced by Alphea is a packaging format referred to as Delta. This mechanism converts AI-generated outputs into self-contained executable units. Instead of requiring manual configuration, authorization, or resource allocation, these units arrive on the network with all necessary context for immediate and autonomous execution.

This Delta framework allows AI-generated processes to be deployed and executed without human intervention, significantly reducing operational friction.

The platform also incorporates a dynamic storage model. Frequently accessed data is maintained close to execution environments, while less active data is shifted to more durable storage layers. Each computational workload is paired with a proof of execution, which verifies not only that a task was completed but also details how it was executed and the resources consumed. This approach is intended to ensure transparency and trust in a decentralized setting without relying on centralized verification.

Usage-Based Economic Model

Alphea’s economic structure links token usage directly to resource consumption. AI agents that perform computations, store data, or utilize network bandwidth are charged proportionally based on their usage. This model positions the platform as an operational infrastructure marketplace rather than a speculative token ecosystem.

The project highlighted that its usage-based pricing aligns costs with actual resource consumption, creating a more sustainable and practical economic framework for developers and enterprises.

Leadership and Future Plans

The company is supported by a team with experience in managing large-scale consumer platforms. Henry Park previously led Gala Lab, overseeing gaming operations across multiple global markets. David Bae heads partnerships and capital strategy, while Kevin Oh focuses on sustainability and financial structuring. Technology and product development are guided by James Lee and Dee Lee, who bring expertise spanning gaming, live operations, and Web3 infrastructure.

David Bae reportedly noted that the challenges Alphea is addressing are practical and operational rather than theoretical, emphasizing that the team’s background in running global systems informs their approach to building this new category of AI infrastructure.

The unveiling at Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2026 represents Alphea’s first public milestone. The company indicated that it intends to release further technical documentation and a detailed roadmap in the coming months, while also inviting developers and partners to participate in early-stage collaboration.
