AstralBeam Brings Compliant Real-World Assets to Casper

MAKE Group, an independent product and technology company, has launched AstralBeam on the Casper blockchain, establishing a new connection between regulated real-world assets and a non-EVM network.

AstralBeam is designed as a cross-chain infrastructure layer that allows tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) to move between Casper, Robinhood Chain, Base, Ethereum, and Polygon while retaining their compliance requirements through integration with the T-REX Ledger. The development makes Casper the first non-EVM blockchain to become part of the T-REX network.

Cross-Chain Transfers Retain Compliance Rules

The T-REX Ledger currently oversees more than $32 billion in tokenized assets issued under the ERC-3643 standard. Apex Group, which provides services for approximately $3.5 trillion in assets, has also committed to bringing $100 billion in tokenized assets onto the T-REX Ledger by 2027.

AstralBeam is intended to solve a key challenge for institutional tokenization by enabling regulated assets to move across blockchain networks without losing the investor eligibility, identity, and transfer restrictions attached to those assets.

The infrastructure functions as both a token bridge and cross-chain messaging layer. Its messaging system is built around the ERC-7786 standard, allowing compliance information to be transmitted between Casper and the T-REX Ledger as assets move between networks.

Tokenized equities linked to companies including Netflix, SpaceX, and Amazon, as well as tokenized gold and silver, can be transferred from brokerage environments onto Casper. Once on the network, these assets can potentially be used as decentralized finance collateral or incorporated into RWA-focused vaults.

Before transactions are settled on Casper, transfers are checked against investor rules, eligibility registries, and transfer restrictions maintained through T-REX. This process is designed to ensure that an asset does not lose its regulatory framework when it moves from one blockchain environment to another.

Casper Targets Regulated Asset Markets

Casper has been designed with regulated RWAs in mind. Its smart contracts are upgradeable, allowing tokenized financial instruments to adjust as regulatory requirements change. The network also supports ERC-3643 natively, giving compliant tokens a central role within its infrastructure.

Transactions on Casper are designed to achieve finality within seconds, providing settlement certainty that can be important for institutional participants and transfer agents handling regulated financial instruments.

The integration therefore expands the potential reach of tokenized assets beyond Ethereum-compatible networks. It also provides developers and enterprises with infrastructure for deploying regulated assets across multiple blockchain environments without requiring compliance rules to be recreated independently on each network.

Five-Node Architecture Adds Security

AstralBeam uses a five-verifier-node architecture intended to reduce reliance on a single verification point. Each source-chain transaction is independently reviewed by the verifier nodes, with assets permitted to move only after at least three of the five nodes reach consensus.

It's finally here. AstralBeam is open on testnet! 🪐✨

Connect a Casper wallet, grab test assets from the faucet, and beam them onto Casper from @ethereum, @base @0xPolygon or @RobinhoodApp Chain.

The 3-of-5 verification requirement is enforced through blockchain contracts, providing an additional layer of control over cross-chain asset movement.

The bridge has undergone six months of testnet activity and continuous testing. MAKE Group is also undergoing multiple rounds of security audits with Halborn Security as the infrastructure moves toward wider deployment.

T-REX Network co-founder and Apex Group Head of Blockchain Joachim Lebrun indicated that cross-chain compliance would be essential for tokenized securities to achieve institutional scale. He also pointed to Casper’s role as the first non-EVM network in the T-REX ecosystem and described AstralBeam’s messaging functionality as the mechanism enabling that connection.

MAKE Group’s Michael Steuer similarly emphasized that the central challenge for RWAs is not simply transferring assets between networks, but preserving the rules under which those assets were originally issued.

AstralBeam is now preparing for its public testnet phase, with a mainnet launch planned afterward, potentially giving users and developers broader access to compliant tokenized assets across both EVM and non-EVM environments.

Documentation for users and developers is already available, while the upcoming mainnet deployment is expected to determine how the infrastructure performs under broader real-world usage. The integration positions Casper as a regulated destination for institutional-grade RWAs and strengthens the broader push toward interoperable, compliance-focused tokenization.
