Cryptocurrency exchange and web3 company Bitget has recently introduced the Bitget Card, a Visa Platinum card designed to elevate financial experiences and promote the adoption of cryptocurrencies. Developed in collaboration with Reap, the Bitget Card necessitates users to maintain a sufficient balance in their Bitget funding account in USDT (Tether), with plans to extend support to other mainstream stablecoins or cryptocurrencies in the future. The card, tailored for USD payments, does not impose annual or application fees.
Rollout and Accessibility:
Commencing on January 8, 2024, the Bitget Card will initially be accessible to internal staff, gradually extending availability to all eligible users in the first half of 2024. Upon successful completion of a standardized KYC process, approved applicants will instantly receive a virtual card compatible with popular wallets like Google Pay and Apple Pay. Physical cards will be dispatched and are expected to reach recipients within a few weeks.
Global Acceptance and VIP Features:
Denominated in USD, the Bitget Card is accepted globally wherever Visa is acknowledged, featuring minimal FX fees to support local spending. It offers a monthly spending limit and caters to high-value transactions, with VIP customers receiving a metal physical card.

The Bitget Card facilitates both online and offline transactions, seamlessly integrating with various mobile payment platforms, including Google Pay and Apple Pay. Users can conveniently withdraw cash from any ATM affiliated with the Visa network, subject to withdrawal limits and restrictions.
