Alliance Targets Financial Institutions Deploying Digital Assets

Cosmos Labs, the company behind the Cosmos digital ledger technology stack and interoperability solutions, has entered into a partnership with enterprise blockchain infrastructure provider Zeeve to support financial institutions deploying tokenized deposits and digital assets.

The companies said the collaboration would combine Cosmos’ blockchain technology with Zeeve’s deployment, operational, and privacy capabilities. The partnership is intended to provide banks, financial technology companies, and other institutions with a more complete route to launching blockchain-based financial applications in regulated environments.

The partnership will combine the Cosmos ledger and tokenization technology with Zeeve’s enterprise deployment, network operations, and privacy capabilities to support tokenized deposits and digital asset initiatives.

Cosmos Labs develops technology associated with the Cosmos ecosystem, which supports more than 150 independent blockchains across financial services, payments, and other business applications. The Cosmos technology stack allows institutions and governments to develop sovereign blockchain networks while maintaining interoperability with other systems.

Cosmos Labs is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Interchain Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports the Cosmos ecosystem and its decentralized technologies.

Zeeve provides privacy-enabled blockchain infrastructure designed for production-scale digital asset applications. Its services support tokenization, stablecoins, tokenized deposits, payments, and settlement systems. The company said its infrastructure was designed to meet the requirements of regulated organizations and was compliant with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 standards.

The company also said it operated more than 25 production blockchain networks that collectively processed over 2 billion transactions each month.

Cosmos Technology to Be Offered Through Zeeve

Under the partnership, Zeeve will provide solutions based on the Cosmos technology stack to its enterprise customers. Cosmos will serve as the underlying ledger and asset-issuance layer, while Zeeve will provide infrastructure deployment and ongoing operational support.

Zeeve’s services are expected to include fully managed blockchain networks, migration assistance, production architecture, dedicated node and validator operations, and privacy capabilities through its Zeeve Privacy Layer.

The companies said the combined offering would help enterprises reduce the technical and operational complexity associated with moving blockchain projects from development into production.

Financial institutions will be able to use Cosmos’ established ledger infrastructure alongside Zeeve’s managed operations, privacy tools, and enterprise support services.

The Cosmos technology stack has been operating in production since 2019. According to the companies, the network ecosystem supports more than 150 independent blockchains and can process more than 10,000 transactions per second while enabling sub-second transaction speeds and native interoperability.

These capabilities are expected to provide institutions with a technology foundation for issuing tokenized deposits and other digital assets. The companies said the technology was designed to support organizations seeking greater control over their blockchain infrastructure while maintaining connectivity across different networks.

Partnership Addresses Enterprise Operations and Privacy

Zeeve will contribute operational and compliance capabilities aimed at supporting large-scale institutional deployments. The company said its services included continuous system monitoring, enterprise service-level agreements, dedicated infrastructure management, and uptime commitments of up to 99.99%.

Its privacy technology is designed to provide protections across transaction processes and application workflows. These features are intended to address operational, security, and privacy requirements that financial institutions may consider when deploying blockchain systems.

The combined platform is designed to provide enterprises with a full-stack framework for moving tokenized asset and digital ledger projects into production with greater operational support and reduced deployment complexity.

Barry Plunkett, co-chief executive officer of Cosmos Labs, said Zeeve’s operational capabilities would help enterprise customers deploy blockchain infrastructure with greater confidence. He indicated that institutions would gain access to Cosmos’ ledger and tokenization technology while using Zeeve’s engineering and infrastructure management expertise.

Dr. Ravi Chamria, co-founder and chief executive officer of Zeeve, said enterprises were seeking blockchain technology that had been proven in production and could be deployed without creating significant operational challenges. He added that Cosmos would provide the underlying technology foundation, while Zeeve would support deployment and long-term operations.

The companies said the partnership would offer organizations an integrated path to launching blockchain-based financial services. By combining ledger technology, asset issuance tools, managed infrastructure, privacy systems, and operational support, the collaboration aims to simplify the deployment of tokenized assets and other digital ledger applications.
