Delabs Games has unveiled a collaboration with Arbitrum, aiming to furnish their gaming community with Web3 gaming services characterized by reduced transaction expenses and accelerated transfer rates.
Arbitrum, a Layer 2 solution designed to tackle Ethereum’s scalability challenges, is renowned for its cost-effective transactions and swift transfer velocities, securing the fifth position in total value locked (TVL) within the decentralized finance (DeFi) realm.
Under the partnership, Delabs Games intends to transition upcoming Web3 titles, namely Metabolts and Space Frontier, to the Arbitrum platform. Additionally, Rumble Racing Star, a multiplayer racing sensation launched earlier this year, is slated for migration to Arbitrum. Furthermore, Delabs plans to introduce its token, $GAME, as an ERC-20 token later this year.
Joonmo Kwon, CEO of Delabs Games, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with Arbitrum, lauding its world-class Ethereum Layer 2 technology. He emphasized their goal of enhancing Delabs Games’ technical infrastructure by harnessing Arbitrum’s robust technological framework and advanced solutions. Nina Rong, Head of Ecosystem Development at Arbitrum Foundation, echoed Kwon’s sentiments, expressing excitement about welcoming Delabs to the Arbitrum ecosystem. Rong highlighted their shared vision of invigorating the Web3 gaming landscape and emphasized the collaborative effort between Arbitrum and Delabs to cultivate a premier ecosystem for Web3 gaming through Arbitrum technology.
Meanwhile, Delabs Games is accelerating the launch of its Web3 gaming services, scheduled for the latter half of the year. Space Frontier, currently in development by Delabs Games, promises an enthralling space refugee survival experience, where players undertake planet development, engage in battles with invaders, and strive for survival as humanity’s remnants.
Metabolts, another project in the works at Delabs Games, is a collectible role-playing game (RPG) helmed by the creators of the acclaimed RPG ‘King’s Raid’. It introduces unique, charismatic characters and enlists renowned Japanese voice actors to enhance character immersion.
